11:00 - 11:45 h Introduction to Chord Solo (Chord Melody) Playing (English) presented by Gerry Long
The workshop makes extensive use of Mr. Long's chord solo book. It begins with one and two chord songs, and uses songs which are already “under your fingers” to achieve that first chord solo to “break the ice” in soloing. The use of primary chord inversions and passing tones further enhances one's ability to create a chord solo. If the workshop participant does not have the chord solo book, materials from the book will be provided at the workshop.
12:00 - 12:45 h Performing on stage in 10 steps (English) presented by Professor Peter and Doctor Dick.

Eighteen years of experience, the heights and the depths, the pitfalls, miscalculations and exuberant triumph! The professor and doctor combined this experience in Ten Steps. Ten Steps concerning repertoire, presentation, preparation, transpiration, choices to make, things to think about and nerves to be controlled.
